You will be providing project management support, technical delivery, and client management for aviation projects. In this role, you will have opportunities to work at both commercial service and general aviation airports, and will allow you to interact with customers, FAA/DOT personnel, permitting officials and multi-disciplinary C&S teams.This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, great employee benefits and an outstanding work environment. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.Position ResponsibilitiesProject Management and leading the technical delivery of airport development projects in the Great Lakes region.Supporting other projects in C&S offices across the country.Engaging with clients to solve problems and improve their airport facilities.Leading the communication with clients, FAA and other project stakeholders.Leading internal team of design professionals to deliver exciting projects for our clients.Coordinating with sub-consultants and multi-discipline teams throughout design and construction.Administration and oversight of the construction of our designed projects.Skills/Education/Experience10+ years of engineering and project management experience in airfield design/constructionSolid analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skillsStrong teamwork and communications skillsResourceful and self-motivatedAbility and willingness to manage peopleAbility to set deadlines, manage resources, monitor/summarize project progressSolid organizational skills with a focus on detailsWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3DKnowledge of airfield and FAA regulationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a passion for lifelong learning or similar technical degreeProfessional Engineering (PE) License or desire to pursue licenseExisting relationships with strategic clients a plusEstimated Compensation Range and Benefits$110,000 - $140,000/yearActual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.Learn about our comprehensive BenefitsWHO WE ARE: C&S Companies is a national planning, design, and construction firm with more than 600 employees and growing.
