Job Title: Class B Driver -- Moving & StorageJob Type: Full-timeJob Description:We are seeking a Class B driver to join our moving and storage team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer belongings, including household goods, furniture, and commercial items. This position involves driving a moving truck or van, as well as assisting with packing, loading, and unloading.Key Responsibilities:- Pack, wrap, load, and unload furniture, boxes, and other items safely, using moving equipment such as dollies and ramps- Operate a moving truck or box truck, following traffic laws and company safety policies- Interact professionally and respectfully with customers, ensuring a positive moving experience- Work closely with other crew members to coordinate efficient loading and unloading- Take inventory of items and complete necessary paperwork to ensure accuracy and prevent loss or damage- Collect payments and obtain customer signatures when required- Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure the truck is clean, safe, and well-maintainedRequired Skills and Qualifications:- Physical strength and endurance; ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50--100 lbs or more) regularly- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members- Attention to detail for careful packing, labeling, and inventory management- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (drug-free workplace)- Experience driving a box truck or van preferred- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)- Good time management skills to meet job deadlines
