Summary The Division of Neonatology University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Health System is seeking a neonatologist with a focused interest in Neonatal to join the largest academic neonatal/perinatal center in Florida, state of the art clinical service and ample opportunities for clinical/translational research. Clinical services are rendered at all Jackson Hospital locations: Jackson Holtz Children Hospital, Jackson South, and Jackson North. Reporting Relationship: In this role the Assistant Professor reports directly to the Division Chief u2022 Clinical duties will be as a Neonatal Attending in the Neonatal Services at all covering locations providing medical care for neonates in these units on a 24 hour 7 days per week rotational schedule. u2022 Provide antenatal consultation for high risk pregnancies u2022 Care and stabilization of infants in the delivery room u2022 Conduct daily rounds on patients in the different neonatal units u2022 Administrative duties within the division and the Newborn Service u2022 Teaching of residents, fellows and medical students u2022 The position also requires development and participation in original research either clinical or translational for which extramural funding should be sought.
