Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. They use various imaging techniques like mammography, ultrasound, and MRI to detect abnormalities in breast tissue. Duties included, but not limited to the following: Interpret and diagnose breast imaging studies, including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI Communicate results and provide recommendations to referring physicians and patients Stay current on the latest developments and advancements in the field of breast imaging Maintain accurate medical records and document patient progress Participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with on-call coverage Requirements Conditions of Employment U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
