Pediatric & Adolescent SANE Nurse PRN, As Needed

Responsibilities The Pediatric & Adolescent SANE Nurse is a credentialed SANE P/A who provides emergent medical and forensic evaluations for c hildren and adolescents who are the suspected victims of s exual abuse, s exual assault, human trafficking, or other forms of child maltreatment. This includes forensic photography, evidence collection, maintaining chain of custody, providing court testimony when required and serving as a liaison for emergency department healthcare teams, detectives, attorneys, crisis center advocates, child advocacy center personnel and child protection workers. The SANE P/A will provide services for patients aged 0-18 who seek services at a Norton Healthcare hospital for s exual assault, abuse or trafficking.
