The Sr Director, Design & Construction will manage Project Managers within the construction department, providing exception team and client services at all levels. The person in this role will drive project deliverables while maintaining client, vendor and departmental realationships. Key Responsibilities: u2022 Directs project communication procedure between upper management and the field. u2022 Supervises budgets, and oversees all projects interdependencies & efficiencies, and is responsible for meeting project objectives and client project expectations u2022 Initiates and maintains Interface between the project deliverables, vendor partners, operations team, and client representatives. u2022 Coordinates with Project GC & PM on all project schedules and coordination u2022 Contributes to strategies in D&C that contribute to Like for Like growth, new business opportunities, and business retention efforts. u2022 Communicates regularly with SSC management and client contacts, and all other management members on project priorities, project pipelines, and project status. u2022 Cultivate strong partnerships with sector stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation in design and construction. u2022 Forge strategic alliances with external partners, to streamline purchasing, vendor selection, and bidding processes. u2022 Provide thought leadership on Sustainable Design and Construction practices. u2022 Defines contractual obligations and oversee project budgets and schedules to ensure alignment with project objectives. u2022 Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic and financial objectives.
