BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Residential Advocate to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Northside Behavioral Health + Facility: Northside Behavioral Health + Location: Tampa, FL + Status: Part-Time, Hourly + Shift Hours: 2:30- 11:00 pm + Weekend Work: Every + On Call: No Residential Advocate Responsibilities: + Monitors self-administration of medications and reconciles medication. + Completes admission documents, living skills assessment treatment plans/updates, monthly progress notes, activity notes, discharge documents, environmental/infection control rounds, and monthly fire drills. + Teaches/educates residents on basic living skills, kitchen/fire safety, preparation for weather emergencies. + Assists/attends to physical maintenance/cleanliness of facility, monitors supplies. + Completes maintenance requests, fire extinguisher checks, weekly bedroom/bath or apartment inspections. + Facilitates community meetings, social activities/groups. + Supports supervisor. + Informs supervisor of unusual situations/behaviors, completes incident reporting, communication log entries/shift report notes. + Transports residents as needed. + Communicates with treatment team. + Complies with AHCA regulations/mandates. + Reports change in condition to appropriate staff for intervention or hospitalization. + Responds to emergencies according to program procedures. + Provides direct monitoring/visual contact for residents deemed a risk to self/others. + At group homes, monitors food inventory, prepares/serves meals per menu, proper food handling, documents substitutions. + Conducts chart reviews for compliance.
