Job Summary: RESPONSIBILITIES u2022 Implement automated solutions to improve SDLC and DevSecOps processes. u2022 Evaluate, enhance, design, and develop IT standards, polices, and procedures u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks and controlling weaknesses u2022 Support a variety of test engineering activities to ensure that solutions are automated, integrated, controls are met, and metrics are produced. u2022 Conduct analysis, reviews, audits, inspections, and investigations relative to standards, policies, and procedures u2022 Implement automated control observability and compliance verification u2022 Implement training plans related to standards and governance, including establishment of training curriculum, assignment, records management, and compliance monitoring and reporting u2022 Automate operational processes in compliance with security standards u2022 Create documentation such as user guides and training materials WORK EXPERIENCE: u2022 Knowledge of and demonstrated experience process reengineering, driving and delivering automation of manual processes u2022 Must have experience within a large, highly matrixed organization with recent work related to standards and governance u2022 Knowledge of and demonstrated experience interpreting and applying one or more recognized, related compliance and/or risk management regulations and frameworks u2022 Experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow modules u2022 Experience with continuous testing tools and solutions u2022 Experience in a DevOps role u2022 Experience in software development and infrastructure as code (IaC) is a plus u2022 Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operations QUALIFICATIONS: u2022 4 to 7 years proficiency with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies like Agile/SAFe, waterfall, test-driven development u2022 Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance concerns in a financial organization u2022 Ability to troubleshoot complex problems with minimal guidance u2022 Ability to learn and adapt to new capabilities/tools based on business needs u2022 Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization, and be viewed as a team player u2022 Ability to influence and garner support from cross-functional teammates u2022 Experience in leveraging monitoring and observability tools u2022 Strong technical documentation skills u2022 Strong presentation skills u2022 Effective use of collaboration tools, such as MS Teams, Jira, Confluence and SharePoint u2022 Working Knowledge of office tools Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel. u2022 Access Database and SQL skills a plus u2022 Familiarity with: u2022 Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, TFS, Azure DevOps, Tekton) u2022 Scripting languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, PHP, Groovy, Bash. u2022 Docker/Kubernetes FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS: u2022 Communicates effectively to all levels in the organization u2022 Identifies multiple paths to success using analytical and critical thinking as well as decision-making skills u2022 Exercises sound judgement, prioritizes effectively, and strives for continuous improvement u2022 Effectively collaborates with colleagues u2022 Leverages available technology to drive efficiency and results u2022 Understands and applies industry trends and best practices u2022 Exhibits optimism, resilience, flexibility, and openness to others' ideas u2022 Always acts with integrity u2022 Serving as a trusted advisor u2022 Thinks big picture and understands the potential risk and impact of decisions u2022 Strong attention to detail u2022 Ability to work effectively independently and on a team u2022 Respect others' opinions, beliefs, and culture by listening to ideas, sharing thoughts, and working independently and together to contribute to the success of the team CERTIFICATIONS: These certifications would be beneficial: u2022 AWS u2022 AZURE u2022 Agile/SAFE u2022 DevOps EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience u201cVisa sponsorship/support is based on business needs. The typical base pay range for this role is between $124K - $145K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
