IT Project Manager Job Locations UK-Edinburgh Work From Your Own Home ID 2025-17846 Overview The IT Project Manager plays a critical role in managing the delivery of IT projects. This role requires a strong project delivery and technical background with a proven track record of successful technology integration & transformation projects in highly regulated industries. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for developing and executing plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to Element's technology strategy and security standards. Responsibilities Management throughout the delivery lifecycle of a portfolio of IT Projects ensuring adherence to established standards, security protocols, compliance requirements and best practices. Strong communication & collaboration with key stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, manage expectations and build effective working relationships Creation and execution of detailed project delivery plans including timelines, resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies. Management and reporting of project progress, budget and risks identifying and resolving roadblocks or issues through strong project governance & decision making Ensuring successful handover to operational teams, providing knowledge transfer, documentation, and training as required. Conducting post-project reviews to evaluate success and identify areas for continuous improvement Skills / Qualifications Experience / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management with demonstratable project delivery experience of IT Infrastructure transformation involving Site facilities, Data Centres, Networks & Cloud technologies within a mid/large scale business Experience of Cyber Security compliance frameworks such as Cyber Essentials Prince2 Practitioner and/or APM PMQ Qualified is an advantage Experience of working within a Global cross-functional team environment. Commercially astute with experience of key procurement processes & budget management responsibility for projects up to 2M in value Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
