Maintains, analyzes, and monitors IT systems (Infra, SAP & MES) and provides Level 1 and 2 support of continuous production at HMMA. Takes appropriate action in resolving basic IT system issues as they occur; recognize and escalate critical issues to second level support. Job Responsibilities: + Support HMMA (Hyundai Motors Manufacturing Alabama) production system monitoring, escalation, troubleshooting and ticket creation with vendor. + Respond to phone and radio call requests from HMMA & KMMG production and maintenance teams. + Promptly respond to and resolve production issues and/or requests as they arise, collaborating with other MES Technicians and Analysts, as necessary, immediately escalating issues as appropriate. + Monitor SAP scheduled jobs and server status (Backflush, Production, and Material Management) + Monitor and maintain Backup and Database jobs. + Monitor Network Accessibility: Internal, External, MPLS, and Network, Monitor IDC Equipment. + Monitor and respond to HMMA MES computers systems and equipment issues; analyze root cause of recurring system issues. + Conduct regular HMMA production floor walk-throughs to ensure printers, scanners and other equipment is in proper working order. + Install, repair, modify, and/or replace computers, scanners, and printers as needed. + Collaborate with HMMA MES Analysts to facilitate MES system development enhancements. + Assist MES team with problem resolution and small projects. + Complete Daily Monitor Reports/Checklists (MES & SAP) + Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Basic Qualifications u00a0 + Education:u00a0 High School diploma or Equivalent work experience. + Computer technical courses. + 2 + years of IT experience. + Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint + Knowledge of Windows OS & Server Operations + Ability to read and follow complex work instructions + Must possess critical listening skills to discern end user concerns/issues. + Ability to communicate well in both written and verbal form. + Ability to think logically, analyze issues, and implement countermeasures + Ability to plan, organize, coordinate work assignments Preferred Qualifications: + Some technical experience troubleshooting computers or electronic equipmentu00a0preferred. + CompTIA A+ certification is a +. + Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Hourly Rate Range - $20.85 to $29.81 per hour. (Depending on experience offered).
