Accountable for implementing and maintaining the company's Safety and Health Procedures, or may assist a Division Safety and Health Manager as needed. Performs routine, non-complex tasks as directed. Key Responsibilities + Conducts employee safety and health training + Conducts routine site safety and health inspections + Implements project security program and procedures + Performs Record keeping / filing functions + Enters safety and health data into word processing and spreadsheet type programs + Individual contributor with no subordinates Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred, working towards a related degree.Safety related experience preferred. Certifications First Aid, CPR, Safety and Health program administration, OSHA 10 hour Work Environment/Physical Demands Physical Demands: u2022 Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds. u2022 Stand, Kneel, Bend, Stoop, Move, and Walk long distances in and around confined, cluttered places, and uneven areas. u2022 See and hear naturally or with correction. u2022 Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties. u2022 Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls according to a set procedure. u2022 Requires repetitive movement. u2022 May require work above 5 feet in height. u2022 Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds. u2022 Work up to a 12 hour shift doing hard physical labor in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
