Human Touch Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our home healthcare team. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Your primary role will be to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitor their health status, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment.About us: We are a home healthcare provider in the area. To meet our standard of care, we offer a variety of affordable and high-quality home health care solutions that will meet the needs of the seniors, disabled, and ill members of the community.Must have a current Colorado State CNA License.Benefits: (Only for Full-Time)- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.- Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.- Positive and supportive work environment- Contribution to improving healthcare access and quality in the community- Comprehensive benefits package including: Health insurance- Vision- Dental- Paid Time Off- Sick Leave- Retirement plansResponsibilities:- Personal Care Assistance: bathing, eating, dressing, hygiene, mobility, exercise- Household Care: housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, dietary aide- Companionship: conversation, reminders.- Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.- Help patients with walking, transferring, and physical exercises as prescribed.- Assist with medication reminders and adherence as per the care plan.- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and changing bed linens.- Engage patients in conversation and provide emotional support and companionship.- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in health status to healthcare professionals.- Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and observations.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.- Follow infection control procedures and ensure a safe environment for patients.Qualifications:- Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).- Previous experience in home healthcare or a related field preferred.- Compassion, empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.- Ability to lift and move patients safely, as required.- Dependable and punctual with a commitment to patient care.- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekends as neededExperience in Home health: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In personJob Types: Full-time, PRNPay: $20.00-22.00 per hour (typical visit 1 hour) - Full-time, PRNMedical specialties: Home HealthWork setting: In-personAbility to commute: Colorado Springs, CO: Reliably commute (Required)Experience: CNA in Home Healthcare 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification: CNA License (Required)u00a0Note - This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
