The NCMC Program Office manages the activities that provide authorities with accurate, timely, and unambiguous warning and attack assessment of air, missile, and space threats.u00a0As the Logistics Manager, you will be involved with logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, or evaluating the actions required to support the specified mission and system components of the division.This is a full-time position on Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO. Expect 25% telework within the Colorado Springs area unless otherwise designated by the government customer.ResponsibilitiesWork with a team of six other logisticians to perform logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, or evaluating the actions required to support the specified mission and system components of the NCMC/ITW-AA divisionUtilize the tenets of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook and apply understanding of the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements for program requirements in focus areas such as Technical Orders, Obsolescence Management, Sparing Analysis, Property Accountability (Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)), Software Licensing, Hardware Warranties, facilities, and services to integrate logistics requirements into NCMC-ITW/AA logistics planning and executionProvide expert logistics input on Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOW), and Performance Work Statements (PWS)Apply experience with USAF Technical Orders (TO) and utilize to review, identify procedural and data discrepancies, and provide corrections prior to publicationWork independently and/or as part of a collaborative project team to perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating logistical actions required to support the NCMC-ITW/AA program and missionCorrelate logistics requirements with program plans to ensure that required support is forecast and provided at the right time and placeApply Waterfall and/or Agile development logistics methodologies to both hardware & software acquisition/sustainment projects in a System Program Office (SPO) settingApply knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning, in accordance with the DoD 5000 series instructions, during each phase of the acquisitionAssist the program's effort to execute a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA)Familiarity with and utilization of a Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) and its processesCommunicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbally, with civilian and military personnel and stakeholdersCollect and analyze manufacturer and Space Force metrics (supply, reliability, maintainability, reliability, etc.) to be briefed at program reviews and other stakeholder meetings as requiredCommunicate and collaborate over MS Teams, Confluence, JIRA, phone, and other designated collaboration methods in order to maximize contribution, especially during telework periodsUtilize Microsoft Office products as the primary software toolsQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Citizenship:Must be a U.S. citizenClearance: Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearanceEducation: High School DiplomaYears' experience:Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, including eight (8) years of DoD experience.Preferred E perience:Clearance:Active Top Secret Security ClearanceEducation: Bachelor's DegreeEducation: Twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; including five (5) years of DoD experienceAdditional experience:NCMC/ITW-AA (or similar system) System Program Office (SPO) environmentHands-on experience supporting the acquisition lifecycle to include planning, coordinating, or evaluating the actions required to support the mission and systems sustainmentExperience providing logistics input towards any of the following - Request for Proposal (RFP), Statement of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)Utilizing Waterfall and/or Agile development logistics methodologies to both hardware and software acquisition/sustainment projectsAdditional Information:Location: Bldg 1840, Peterson SFB, and contractor locations, Colorado Springs, COHybrid: This position has telework capabilities (estimated 25% telecommute/75% in-person at Peterson SFB and contractor locations - subject to change per customer discretion)Travel: CONUS may be required (approx. 5-10%)Pay RangeUSD $82,500.00 - USD $126,000.00 /Yr.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesApply at:
