Auria is looking to hire a Network Engneer to support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, architecture, and operations. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining efficient, scalable, and secure network infrastructure to support organizational goals. The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is the integration backbone of the Missile Defense System. It enables U.S. strategic defense leaders to:Plan and execute missile defense operations.Monitor and manage the real-time development of global defense tegrate and synchronize autonomous sensors, weapon systems, and operations to deliver seamless defense capabilitiesThis position provides the chance to work on challenging projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and promote innovation in network engineering solutions.Essential Functions:Support the C2BMC Program as a primary Network Engineer Plan, deploy, integrate, and test network upgrades at operational sitesTroubleshoot and resolve network issues while providing real-time status updates to Program PersonnelExcellent communication skills, including technical writing and delivering presentationsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, and agile environmentStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a focus on delivering resultsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Visio, for technical documentation and presentationsWHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Computer Engineering (CPE), Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 2 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 0 years of relevant work experience; or 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degreeApplicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret security clearanceCandidates with an active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) are strongly preferred at the time of application. If such certification is not held, it must be obtained within 40 days of the start date. The selected candidate will be responsible for securing and maintaining their DoD 8140 certification. Candidates who fail to obtain the prescribed certification within 40 days will be evaluated for removalWillingness and ability to travel to various operational sites, including Schriever Space Force Base, Alaska, Guam, and Europe, for deployments, are a crucial part of this roleMust possess network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skillsNetwork Design & Methodologies: Expertise in network architecture, testing, and developmentNetworking Protocols: Strong knowledge of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and VPN technologiesExperience with UDP Multicast, TCP/IP designs, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, and GRE TunnelsHands-on experience with firewalls (Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto) and optical transport equipmentCertifications Required: Active CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or JNCIA (Juniper Networks Certified Associate), or must be obtained within six (6) months of the start dateMultivendor Equipment Proficiency: Expertise in configuring and managing network devices, incl ding Cisco and Juniper routers/switches, WAN optimizers, and TACLANE encryption devicesPAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $106,000 - $117,000APPLICATION DEADLINE: The deadline to apply is October 31, 2025.THE AURIA TEAM:Auria is a provider of solutions and software in support of complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions of federal, international, and commercial customers.
