Auria is looking to hire a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a crucial component of the Missile Defense System. It provides a vital operational platform that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively control networked sensors and weapon systems to meet global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability, delivering an optimal response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It functions as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to enhance overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC is a key element in all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities.This individual will be responsible for deploying and maintaining a large virtualization solution spread across multiple remote sites. This environment encompasses solutions such as virtualization hypervisor platforms, remote virtual desktop infrastructure, and other direct user experience technologies, as well as additional monitoring solutions for virtual infrastructure. Must be a detail-oriented individual who can track the impact of events or actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance.WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master's degree (preferred) in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related field with 4 years of relevant work experienceApplicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to startMust have experience with virtualization technologies such as:VMwareRed Hat OpenStackNutanixExperience in Linux and/or Windows Server administrationExperience with scripting languages like:BashPythonPowerShell, or AnsibleExperience working with a Scrum team in an Agile environmentWHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:Have experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and KubernetesHave experience developing CI/CD pipelines with:GitlabImplementing configuration management methodologies using AnsiblePrevious experience with a Nutanix hyperconverged on-premises cloud platformExperience with Windows Server and Active DirectoryExperience as a Scrum Master is a plusPAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $121,000 - $133,000APPLICATION DEADLINE: The deadline to apply is October 31, 2025.THE AURIA TEAM:Auria is a provider of solutions and software in support of complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions of federal, international, and commercial customers.
