Cimarron is seeking anu00a0Ansible Automation Engineeru00a0to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area.Key Duties:- Serve as an Ansible Automation Engineer supporting system buildout and deployment activities for the C2BMC Test Facility in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).- Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions to streamline IT management and reduce manual configuration tasks.- Develop and execute automated processes that enhance system reliability, efficiency, and scalability.- Perform troubleshooting, conduct root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions to resolve system issues.- Ensure all system changes comply with established developer documentation, configuration management, and documentation standards.- Provide timely updates to team leads, managers, and stakeholders regarding task progress and troubleshooting results.- Collaborate with integration leads and managers to define problems, analyze requirements, and implement technical solutions.- Use the REMEDY ticketing system to document, track, and manage the problem-resolution lifecycle.TravelUp to 10%Required Skills, Experience, and Education:- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.u00a0- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include, but is not limited to, testing for marijuana use.- This position requires access to federal facilities.
