DevSecOps Engineer

Auria is looking for a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) Engineer to support the development of satellite ground systems. The ideal candidate will perform DevSecOps tasks that design and implement solutions to build, test, and deploy containerized microservices in a fast-paced HYBRID environment for providing an automated deployment and testing solution for a cloud-built and on-premises deployed software factory.u00a0This is a contingent position.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:Responsible for developing and enhancing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) operations in multiple cloud service environmentsSupport software quality efforts associated with product deliveries, conduct ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps toolchain, and implement upgrades to the software factory as neededConduct automated system testing, integration, and deployment using DevSecOps tools and methodsRecommend and implement upgrades and modifications to DevSecOps workflows and tools/productsWHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:Strong programming skills in Bash, YAML, Python, PowerShell, and AWSCLI or AzureCLIExperience using GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, and JenkinsExperience using AWS cloud or Azure CloudExperience using application security concepts and vulnerability remediation techniquesExperience working within an agile system development framework, conducting engineering tasks for a complex systemExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage numerous demonstration events at the same timeExcellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as within a teamWHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:Current U.S. Government TOP SECRET security clearance (required U.S. Citizenship)Experience with software development, test automation, and system automation that supports the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), and Security as Code (SaC)Expertise with a modern software factory's CI/CD processes, tools, and technologies.u00a0This includes knowledge of technologies such as GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.Knowledge of secure software development methodologies and implementing full-stack infrastructure with a Security First mindsetKnowledge of security standards such as NIST 800-171 and STIG ComplianceExperience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools to assist system development, such as Jira and Confluence, is highly desirablePAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $100,000 - $160,000APPLICATION DEADLINE: The deadline to apply to this role is November 27, 2025.THE AURIA TEAM:Auria is a provider of solutions and software in support of complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions of federal, international, and commercial customers.
