Auria is looking to hire a Modeling & Simulation Analyst to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. This program is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.We seek a highly motivated analyst to support the C2BMC-NT (National Team) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Product Team. The selected candidate will provide technical expertise in the area of Missile Defense (MD) modeling, simulation, and/or analysis. Must possess a strong engineering background that encompasses various disciplines, enabling both conceptual and detailed system-level assessments. Additionally, have a fundamental understanding of analysis techniques, planning, execution, and reporting.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:Responsibilities will include one or more of the following:Plan and execute performance analyses on C2BMC and its interactions with current and planned-future MD ElementsDocument analysis results in reports and briefingsPresent analysis results to a variety of audiencesDevelop requirements for complex system models/simulationsExecute, test, and evaluate/troubleshoot MD-level, extensive-scale models/simulationsDevelop, test, and assess threat scenariosDevelop tools to support analysis and development efforts in:MATLABPythonProvide data to support decisions regarding system/element representations and modeling parameters used in extensive-scale simulationsInteract with members of other C2BMC Product Teams, C2BMC leadership, MDA customers, and technical SMEs, as well as leadership of other MD Element programsWHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable.Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) disciplineor a Master's degree and 3 years of experience,or a PhD and 1 years of experience,or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.Technical specialty areas required:Radar design and performanceStrategic and tactical missile threat characterization/performance/modelingSimulation modeling of complex systemsRequirement and test condition decompositionRequired skills and experience:Discrete event simulation modelingData analysis using tools like Python and MATLABTactical-strategic weapon and sensor message standardsSoftware development in Linux and Agile environment using MATLAB, Python, JAVA, BASHMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the poise and flexibility necessary to thrive in a highly dynamic environmentMust possess knowledge and hands-on experience working in a Unix or Linux environmentWHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:A Master's Degree in a Technical field is preferredCertification: INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) CertificationCertification: Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP - MBFExperi nce with a GIT environment is a plusPAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $105,000 - $115,000THE AURIA TEAM:Auria is a provider of solutions and software in support of complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions of federal, international, and commercial customers.
