Auria is looking to hire a System Administrator to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. This program is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:This position is responsible for supporting the overall daily operations and management of the MS Windows-based enterprise environment, which includes:Active DirectoryDatabase ServersApplication ServersWeb ServersLicense ServersDHCP and DNSNAS and SANCertificate Authorities and Certificate ManagementBackup SystemsSecurity updates and patches are currentActive Directory ReplicationCreating, managing, maintaining, and deleting group policiesAdding, maintaining, and deleting user accountsCreating, maintaining, and deleting security groups and distribution listsConfiguring desktops and servers to meet security requirementsCreating and maintaining server configuration documentationCreating and maintaining Windows Sys Admin processes and proceduresBacking up and restoring, as necessary, all network dataEnsuring disaster recovery processes and procedures are accurate and current and are complied withOff-site backup media storage managementMonitoring server capacity, such as:DiskCPUMemoryManaging and maintaining servers, including performance tuningInstalling, managing, and maintaining server-based applications such as:Secret ServerDOORSSolarwindsSystem ArchitectSQL Server and Axway OCSP Validation Authority and Desktop ValidatorManaging and maintaining enterprise storage, including SAN and NAS SECONDARY FUNCTIONSAssist with security auditsAssist with user desktop supportAssist with desktop moves, adds, and changesAssist with hardware asset managementAssist with creating and maintaining helpdesk processes and proceduresAssist with managing and maintaining network switches and routersAssist with managing and maintaining firewallsAssist with maintaining network printersOther duties as assigned by the IT managerTechnical skills supporting a varied and diverse environment, including server setup, hardening, deployment, and maintenanceWHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable.Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) disciplineor a Master's degree and 3 years of experience,or a PhD and 1 years of experience,or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.A current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) is required to startRequired skills:Windows system administrationPowerShell scriptingDomain/Active Directory administrationB ckup and Recovery administrationSecurity Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)Multi-Factor Authentication implementation like PKI, ADFS, VMware ESXI, QAS/VASWHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:Experience administering virtualization platforms, specifically including VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN), is a plusKnowledge of Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, and ConfluenceUnderstand the concept of PaaS and SaaSUnderstanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and their application to IT and IT productsPAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $105,000 - $115,000THE AURIA TEAM:Auria is a provider of solutions and software in support of complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions of federal, international, and commercial customers.
