Logistics ManagerLocationUS-CO-Colorado SpringsID2025-1348Categoryu00a0Logisticsu00a0u00a0Position Typeu00a0Full-Timeu00a0u00a0Remoteu00a0NoOverviewApogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Logistics Management position supporting the Space Systems Command, Battle Management, Command, Control, Communication, and Space Intelligence (BMC3I) in the NCMC-ITW/AA System Program Office (NORAD Cheyenne Mountain Complex Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment). The NCMC Program Office manages the activities that provide authorities with accurate, timely, and unambiguous warning and attack assessment of air, missile, and space threats.u00a0As the Logistics Manager, you be involved with logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, or evaluating the actions required to support the specified mission and system components of the division.This is a full-time position on Peterson Space Force Base (SFB) located in Colorado Springs, CO. Expect less than 10% telework within the Colorado Springs area unless otherwise designated by the government customer.ResponsibilitiesWork with a team of four other logistics managers to perform logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, or evaluating the actions required to support the specified mission and system components of the NCMC/ITW-AA divisionApply knowledge, familiarity and experience implementing tenets of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook and the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements to integrate logistics requirements into NCMC-ITW/AA logistics planning and executionProvide expert logistics input on Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOW), and Performance Work Statements (PWS)Apply experience with USAF Technical Orders (TO) to review, identify procedural and data discrepancies, and provide corrections prior to publicationWork independently and/or as part of a collaborative integrated project team to perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating logistical actions required to support the NCMC-ITW/AA program and missionCorrelate logistics requirements with program plans to assure that required support is forecast and provided at the right time and placeApply Waterfall and/or Agile development logistics methodologies to both hardware & software acquisition/sustainment projects in a System Program Office (SPO) settingApply knowledge of the acquisition life-cycle and product support planning, in accordance with the DoD 5000 series instructions, during each phase of acquisitionLead and/or assist the program's effort to execute a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA)Familiarity with and utilization of a Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) and its processesCommunicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbally, with civilian and military personnel and stakeholdersCollect and analyze manufacturer and Space Force metrics (supply, reliability, maintainability, reliability, etc.) to be briefed at program reviews and other stakeholder meetings as requiredCommunicate and collaborate over MS Teams, Confluence, JIRA, phone and other designated collaboration methods to maximize contribution, especially during telework periodsUtilize Microsoft Office products as the primary software toolsApply knowledge of DoD and USAF/USSF property management and Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) policies, processes, and proceduresQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Citizenship: Must be US CitizenClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a secret level clearanceEducation: High School DiplomaYears of Experience: 15 or more years of functional experience in logistics/acquisition logistics; to include 5 years of DoD experienceAdditional Experience:Hands-on experience supporting the acquisition life-cycle to include planning, coordinatin , or evaluating the actions required to support the mission and systems sustainmentExperience providing logistics input to any of the following - Request for Proposal (RFP), Statement of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).Preferred Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's DegreeYears of experience: 10 or more years of functional experience in logistics/acquisition logistics; to include 3 years of DoD experienceAdditional experience: Utilizing Waterfall and/or Agile development logistics methodologies to both hardware and software acquisition/sustainment projects in a NCMC/ITW-AA (or similar system) System Program Office (SPO) environmentAdditional Information:Location: Peterson Space Force Base, located in Colorado Springs, COHybrid: Expect less than 10% telework within the Colorado Springs area unless otherwise designated by the government customerTravel: 10% of travel requiredPay RangeUSD $100,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesApply at:
