The NC3 Directorate's mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. It consists of an Executive Section, Engineering (EN), Financial Management (FM), Operations Management (OM), Information Protection (IP), Contracts (PK), Cyber, Logistics (LG), the Program Execution Group (PEG) and Intelligence (IN).The Strategic Communications Division (NCS) develops nuclear survivable terminals capable of communicating with the Milstar and Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellite constellations and future satellite constellations using both the Extremely High Frequency (EHF) and AEHF waveforms.This is a full-time role at Peterson SFB, located in Colorado Springs, CO.ResponsibilitiesSupports the Acquisition Program Manager (APM) in assessing programs within schedule and cost baselines.Staffs Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAES), Monthly Activity Reports (MAR), and support program management and IMP/IMS reviews.Oversees the allocation of resources based on program requirements.Manages meetings, calendars, agendas, and briefings, including providing program status briefings to senior management.Determines requirements; develops goals and objectives to accomplish program missions.Gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition, sustainment, or modification programs utilizing knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques.Ability to understand various funding types, budgets, and understand the Central Asset Management (CAM) process.Monitors, mentors, and develops lower-level (Senior, Journeyman) Acquisition Support Specialists and other contractor support personnel following Govt PMO leadership lines of effort, policy, and standard operating procedures.u00a0u00a0QualificationsMinimum Experience:Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearanceEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business or related fieldYears of Experience: 12 years of experience with DoD acquisition programsComprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, AFI 63-101/20-101, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air ForceDemonstrated ability to plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, deployment, and sustainment of weapons systems and associated equipment as well as formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectivesUnderstands, the different funding types, budgets, and the Central Asset Management (CAM) processStrong working Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite software and project management/scheduling applications such as MS ProjectPreferred Experience:Certifications: DAWIA Advanced (formerly Level III) Equivalency in Program Management or Engineering & Technical ManagementEducation: Master's degree in Business or related fieldYears of Experience: 10 years of experience with DoD acquisition programsAdditional Information:Location: Peterson Space Force Base (SFB) located in Colorado Springs, ColoradoHybrid: This position offers telework approx. 2 days a week - subject to change per the customer' discretionTravel: CONUS travel up to 10% may be requiredu00a0Pay RangeUSD $110,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesApply at:
