Cimarron and Amentum are seeking au00a0Subcontracts Management Leadu00a0to support the Missile Defense Agency(MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) Contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area.Key Duties:u00a0- Prepare solicitation documents, select solicitation methods, and identify qualified sources.- Analyze and evaluate subcontractor proposals; negotiate scope, schedule, terms, and conditions as the primary POC with subcontractors and project leadership.- Conduct cost/price analyses, provide award justifications, and develop risk assessments with mitigation strategies.- Establish, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements, including MSAs and modifications.- Administer subcontracts to ensure performance in compliance with statements of work, delivery schedules, and regulations.- Review and validate subcontractor invoices, ensuring compliance with negotiated terms and conditions.- Maintain subcontract files and documentation in accordance with policies, procedures, and audit requirements.- Collaborate with proposal and technical teams on SOWs, purchase requests, and vendor competition.- Monitor subcontractor performance, recommend amendments/extensions, and resolve disputes (including Letters of Concern).- Track and present subcontractor metrics to leadership, including award values and process cycle times.Required Skills, Experience, and Education:u00a0- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.u00a0- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire.u00a0If you are unsure whether your ID is Real ID-compliant, please check for the star symbol in the upper portion of your driver's license or state ID.- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in a reasonable timeframe.- 8 or more years of directly related work experience.- 2 or more years of experience in a management or leadership position.- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.u00a0- Ability to perform tasks successfully with minimal guidance, manage shifting priorities, and meet short deadlines.- Responsive, flexible, highly organized, and detail-oriented.- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.- Ability to mentor and manage subcontract administrators.- Strong understanding of contractual risks and ability to apply them in subcontract negotiations.- Working knowledge of multiple contract types (IDIQ, CPIF, T&M, Firm-Fixed Price) with demonstrated ability to interpret and execute federal regulations within contracts.Business Profile:u00a0Cimarron is a global solutions company with a strategic partnering approach to satisfying customer-driven requirements.
