Description: You will be a Software Engineer for the Common Real Time Executive (CORE) team. Our team is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of common simulation software infrastructure products utilized by the Aeronautics Simulation and System Integration Labs (SSL) department in support of all Aeronautics Lines of Business. What You Will Be Doing: As a Software Engineer on the CORE team, you will responsible for the design, development, integration, test and deployment of simulation software products. This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth. You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM discipline. u2022 Java, Python and/or C++ programming experience u2022 Experience using Object-Oriented Design techniques u2022 Experience with Linux operating systems u2022 Must be a US Citizen, this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills: u2022 Experience with containerized development environments (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, Podman) u2022 Knowledge of Redhat Package Manager (RPM) u2022 Five or more years of experience in C++, Python and/or Java programming u2022 Five or more years of experience using Object-Oriented Design techniques. u2022 Experience with JIRA u2022 Experience with Gitlab u2022 Familiarity with simulation systems (Hardware-in-the-Loop or Man-in-the-Loop) u2022 Strong problem-solving skills u2022 Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
