HOSPITALIST NURSE PRACTITIONER OPENING Fort Worth, TEXAS Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a Nurse Practitioner , Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity in downtown Fort Worth, TX . Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients. POSITION DETAILS: u00d8 Assist Hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&Pu2019s & follow-up visits. u00d8 Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses. u00d8 Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions u00d8 Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients u00d8 Document using EMR system. u00d8 Participate in continuous quality improvement processes. IF YOU: u00d8 Enjoy working nights, 7 pm- 7 am u00d8 Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision making u00d8 Texas licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner u00d8 ACLS certification u00d8 2 years of NP or RN experience in ICU/CVICU required. Nurse Practitioner Qualifications: The Nurse Practitioner (u201cNPu201d) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas. Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas. The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
