( Purpose of Role The Sr. Lead, Category Marketing u2013 Sportswear role is responsible for category marketing strategy and oversight of execution for all marketing related activity within the categories (categories are sport specific, broken out by gender as appropriate). The teammate in this role will craft go-to-market strategies, positioning and activation plans for specific category business units within the Americas region at Under Armour. It is essential that this role focuses on driving Brand consideration and affinity and retail sales by delivering consumer-focused marketing activations. This role will work to coordinate the building of unified marketing materials across all touch-points needed for global launches, working with regional teams to drive continuity of message. This leader will ensure Under Armour products are powerfully placed in the Americas market, across revenue channels, to connect with customers and drive sales, with direct responsibility over Sportswear marketing. Your Impact u2022 Plans and executes category campaigns that connect to Global category strategy and drive sales goals across revenue channels (DTC, wholesale accounts) and marketing channels (CE, in-store, etc.) u2022 Works with regional cross functional partners (revenue channel marketers, merchandising, visual, etc.) to prioritize storytelling for the Sportswear category, with a focus on Brand building and foundational commercial stories u2022 Serves as single point of contact for all Sportswear marketing u2022 Authors briefs (master, creative) to initiate and develop category-level support elements for the Americas region, building on Global category briefs where relevant u2022 Partners with regional marketing channel teams to consult on seasonal tactical briefs and acts as a stakeholder throughout seasonal execution u2022 Drives and delivers go-to-market timelines for relevant global and regional campaigns u2022 Provides input on sports marketing briefs and activation for brand assets u2022 Coordinates with the regions to ensure campaigns are regionally relevant, integrating Global positioning into planning u2022 Ensures briefs and feedback provided to Global from regions aids in the development of campaign elements that can be successfully leveraged by the region u2022 Builds budget recommendations for Americas category activation and acts as stakeholder in execution with marketing channel teams u2022 Partners with and supports Product and Brand Marketing Leadership u2022 Builds close partnerships with all cross functional teams related to the category, in region and globally, and ensures relevant insights are cascaded to key stakeholders u2022 Collaborates with Consumer Insights team on collection of competitive analysis, industry studies and sales analysis relevant to the global market/consumer u2022 Assists Marketing Ops to measure effectiveness of marketing tactics u2022 Other duties may be assigned Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree required u2022 Minimum of 8 years of relevant marketing experience in a fast-paced, product-oriented, consumer-driven company u2022 Build marketing strategies tied to a business plans (long and short-term) u2022 Strong Product Marketing u2022 Consumer and Business Analytics u2022 Consumer Segmentation and Targeting u2022 Creative Process Briefing u2022 Budgeting, ROI Quantification u2022 Internal client partnership-building with product teams u2022 Be globally curious in nature u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills, to include: creative briefs, presentations (Power Point, Keynote, and verbal), great storytelling u2022 Previous experience at Sports Company or retail environment is a plus u2022 Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel) Workplace Location + Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office. + Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week. Relocation + Relocation may be provided up to a specified amount Base Compensation $137,357.33-$171,696.67 USD Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
