The Division of Neonatology is a rapidly growing, academically oriented division. We are currently seeking anAssistant Professor or Associate Professoru2013levelfaculty memberto join our expanding team withsplit clinical duties between the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center (UM-SJMC)and theUniversity of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC). This position will support theLevel III NICU at UM-SJMCwhile also contributing to clinical care, education, and quality initiatives within theLevel IV NICU at UMMC. The successful candidate will hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Maryland School of Medicine, at Assistant Professor or Associate Professor commensurate with experience. Reporting on Quality Metrics UM SJMC is a 263-bed Catholic hospital with more than 700 physicians on the medical staff. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University. Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidateu2019s experience.
