Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Southfield, Michigan. This role requires expertise in litigation processes and a strong background in insurance defense and personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will excel at drafting legal documents and managing complex case files with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist attorneys with all aspects of civil litigation, including discovery and trial preparation. u2022 Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence. u2022 Manage case files and ensure accurate organization of all relevant documents. u2022 Conduct research to support legal arguments and case strategies. u2022 Collaborate with insurance defense teams to handle no-fault and personal injury cases. u2022 Maintain and update case management software for streamlined workflows. u2022 Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather necessary information. u2022 Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements. u2022 Provide trial support, including organizing exhibits and preparing presentations. u2022 Review and analyze discovery materials to assist in case development. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in litigation. u2022 Strong knowledge of insurance defense and personal injury law. u2022 Proficiency in drafting legal documents and managing case files. u2022 Hands-on experience with discovery processes and civil litigation. u2022 Familiarity with case management software and legal research tools. u2022 Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. u2022 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment. u2022 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
