OR Service Line Coordinator - Ophthalmology, Dental Department: OCH Operating Room Location: Oishei Children's Hospital Location of Job: US:NY:Buffalo Work Type: Full-Time Scheduled Work Hours: 7a-7:30p, 7:30a-8p, 8a-8:30p, 8:30a-9p Shift 1 Job Description To assist in the planning, direction and structure of the clinical activities for the Operating rooms. Education And Credentials Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse/RN Permit required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire regulatory required. For OR Service Leader BSN preferred. CNOR preferred. Experience Two (2) years OR nursing experience required. Two years-experience within the past 3 years in Primary Specialty Service ( Ophthalmology, Dental), evidenced by a majority of current work in Primary Specialty area. Minor specialties assigned require a basic working knowledge of supplies and equipment.
