You will manage projects, maintain existing and develop new client relationships. You will assess client needs, prepare reports, and develop and implement strategies to help clients achieve environmental compliance. You will also help lead local and regional environmental compliance marketing efforts. Come Explore with us _The individual should have basic experience and regulatory knowledge in all or some of the service areas listed below:_ u2022 Air permitting u2022 Stormwater / SWPPP u2022 RCRA/Hazardous waste u2022 Compliance auditing u2022 Oil Storage/SPCC plans u2022 SARA Title III (Tier II/TRI) reporting u2022 Industrial wastewater u2022 Sustainability Essential Roles and Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare calculations, permit applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables u2022 Manage projects within budgets and ensure quality and timeliness u2022 Understand the local and regional market u2022 Develop strong working relationships with clients u2022 Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests u2022 Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies u2022 Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines u2022 Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations Requirements: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering or an environmental-related discipline. u2022 3-5 years of experience in a full-time regulatory compliance consulting role. u2022 Demonstrated solid technical writing ability. u2022 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. u2022 Valid driveru2019s license with acceptable violation history Preferred Requirements: u2022 Engineer with P.E. or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment u2022 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-Hr refresher u2022 Masteru2019s degree Exemption: Exempt Requisition ID: 32107BR Posting Title: Environmental Compliance Engineer/Project Manager/Scientist Employment Type: Regular, Full Time City, State (Office Location): Omaha, NE About Terracon: Terracon is a 100 percent employee-owned multidiscipline consulting firm comprised of more than 7,000 curious minds focused on solving engineering and technical challenges from more than 180 locations nationwide.
