Accounts Receivable Assistant

Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Boerne, Texas. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing invoicing, payment application, and collections processes while maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills and proven experience in accounts receivable functions to help ensure smooth financial operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and issue invoices promptly to customers. u2022 Record payments received and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts. u2022 Regularly review aging reports and follow up with clients on overdue balances. u2022 Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of financial transactions. u2022 Support the month-end closing process by preparing reports and assisting with reconciliations. u2022 Work closely with project managers and field staff to address and resolve billing issues. u2022 Respond to customer inquiries related to billing and account details with professionalism. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounts receivable activities. Requirements u2022 High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred. u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or similar roles. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. u2022 Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or comparable systems. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively. u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
