Software Engineer - Matlab

Software Engineer u2013 Automotive Systems (MATLAB/Simulink) Join a forward-thinking manufacturer at the forefront of electric vehicle innovation. They are seeking a Software Engineer to help shape the future of transportation by developing cutting-edge software systems that control vehicle hardware. Key Responsibilities + Design and develop software systems and applications using MATLAB/Simulink. + Build software requirements from the ground up and translate vehicle-level needs into detailed software specifications. + Test and troubleshoot software to ensure optimal performance and reliability. + Collaborate with international development teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of software and systems. Required Skills & Experience + 5+ years of software engineering experience in the automotive industry. + 3+ years of hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink. + Strong proficiency in C programming and version control using GitHub. + Proven ability to manage and build software requirements. + Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Preferred Qualifications + Experience working with electric vehicle technologies. + Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration, especially with offshore teams. Work Environment Youu2019ll be joining a dynamic and expanding team. Youu2019ll also work closely with a third-party development team based in China- traveling there for 1 month out of the year, contributing to a collaborative and globally integrated development process. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact during the early stages of a major product launch. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA.
