Location: New York u2013 MarketSite (1st and 2nd Floor) Schedule: 8am-4pm ET, Hybrid (1 day WFH) Contract type: W2 under Staffing Supplier Contract Duration: 6 months Pay rate: $27.77/hour Start Date: 01/12/2026 Interview Process: 4 rounds u2013 2 virtual, 2 onsite Visa Sponsorship not provided As NASDAQu2019s Event & Broadcast Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role at our iconic MarketSite by blending AV technical know-how and live broadcast expertise with corporate communication savvy. This hands-on position supports a range of high-profile, mission-critical NASDAQ eventsu2014such as Opening and Closing Bells, IPO ceremonies, and industry broadcasts. Your efforts will help elevate NASDAQu2019s brand among listed, prospective, and external stakeholder companies. Key Responsibilities Live Broadcast Operations + Collaborate with business units and external partners to exchange media content and transmit broadcasts, including coverage of field and live special events. + Develop, coordinate, and maintain the technical and production infrastructure for broadcast events and media teams, including journalists. + Facilitate negotiations regarding content exchange/sale and all duplication responsibilities for broadcast operations. + Ensure seamless broadcast scheduling and effective use of broadcast equipment. + Serve as a technical point of contact for on-site reporters, internal teams, and clients. Internal Event Management + Plan and execute MarketSite Opening and Closing Bell ceremonies and special events for issuers and non-issuers. + Proactively book events based on timely global happenings and NASDAQ priorities. + Liaise with business partners and the MarketSite tech team on all event logistics, ensuring technical infrastructure and support is in place. + Promote creative and expanded use of MarketSiteu2014such as photo shoots, tower messaging, and promotional activitiesu2014to increase exposure and revenue. External Event Delivery + Support NASDAQu2019s Client & Corporate Governance objectives through hands-on planning and successful execution of global programs and events. + Build and maintain positive, high-value relationships with management at listed and prospective companies. + Produce or sponsor events that establish NASDAQ OMXu2019s reputation for thought leadership in the global economic landscape. + Elevate companies through events that champion their brand, provide leadership visibility, and foster peer networking. Required Qualifications + Education: Bacheloru2019s degree required + Experience: 4-5 years in live broadcast and corporate communications required + Technical Skills: AV technology expertise with solid experience operating audio boards + Professional Skills: Strong written communication, event management, and marketing background + Certifications: Relevant credentials in event management and/or marketing preferred Core Competencies + Functional knowledge of broadcast operations and equipment + Experience planning and managing event logistics and production schedules + Creative, resourceful, and capable of leveraging NASDAQu2019s platforms for increased visibility and impact + Business understanding to align event and broadcast activities with NASDAQu2019s strategic goals + Problem solving using established processes; growing comfort with independent judgment + Collaborative, proactive communicatoru2014both internally and with client-facing partners + Active listener, open communicator, and relationship builder Additional Skills & Attributes + Flexible schedule; able to work outside standard hours as required by event timing + Able to produce draft project plans and adjust to changing timelines and specifications + Strong time management and prioritization skills + Growing market and technology trend awareness to develop compelling presentations and event experiences + Acts as an ambassador for NASDAQ, raising visibility through all facets of MarketSite and outreach As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
