Automation Controls Engineer

Job Description We are looking for a Controls engineer who will be responsible for fulfilling project assignments, individually or as part of a project team. Assignments may include involvement in multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Include: -Provide engineering detail to and work with internal drafting resources to develop drawings. -Develop technical documentation and specifications. -Write PLC and HMI application software. -Configure AC / DC drive equipment. -Develop system test plan documents, simulation code, and perform system testing. -Coordinate with project management, technical leads, and/or end customers to commission systems. Must Have - Program PLCs from scratch (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE) - 3+ Years relevant experience - Ability to configure AC / DC drive equipment - Heavy Industrial Automation Experience required - Ability to develop controls systems test plans, and test, troubleshoot, and commission systems - Willingness to travel 40% Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Willoughby, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $50.48/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
