EC Resource Teacher

Special Education Teacher (EC Resource Teacher) Location: Elementary School About the Role: The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, provides quality services to special education students in grades Ku201312. This role requires a strong commitment to collaboration in planning and implementing student programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation with general education staff. Essential Responsibilities: + Deliver individualized and small-group instruction in a resource room and/or inclusion setting. + Support students with disabilities through specialized instruction and services. + Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. + Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to ensure student success. Minimum Requirements: + Bacheloru2019s Degree from an accredited university (preferred). + Valid NC teaching certificate with EC General Curriculum (Ku201312) license (required). + Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred). + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred. + Current CPR certification (if applicable).
