G ENERAL SUMMARY: Oversees daily Super Vision Center store operations and employees, ensuring customers receive the best care and service possible, exceeding patientu2019s expectations within their direct area of supervision and all areas of the business unit. Receives and resolves, within established guidelines, customer concerns and complaints. Responsible for analyzing training needs, the development and administration of training plans and procedures to ensure employee development. Administers corporate policies and procedures. Responsible for the efficient and cost effective operations within assigned office, maintaining appropriate records and preparing required reports. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: u00b7 Constantly and measurably improve store operations. Maintain and improve remakes, payroll, insurance deficiencies, and customer service, training, inventory, merchandising and marketing functions all pertaining to the individual store. u00b7 Interviews and selects employees. Ensure offices are adequately staffed. u00b7 Promote and build effective teams by conducting staff meetings to insure everyone is committed to corporate goals. u00b7 Nurture and empower others to achieve. Provide immediate feedback and recognition to employees. Conduct performance evaluations according to corporate guidelines. u00b7 Establish goals for individual and team performance using corporate action plans. Give timely feedback and helpful coaching while evaluating performance on a daily basis. u00b7 Accurately assess strengths and development needs of employees providing individualized training. Maintain documentation on each employee as to the training completed and information regarding performance. u00b7 Maintain a professional image through appearance and actions. Crossed train staff to develop skills in every area of the office. Display initiative in all individual and team assignments. u00b7 Demonstrate flexibility when handling customer and staff situations. Consider and assess needs of other offices by sharing staff members between offices when necessary. Demonstrate adaptability to new and changing policies and procedures. u00b7 Anticipates customer needs and takes action to meet/exceed them. Takes personal responsibility to ensure self and staff are responding and addressing customer needs. u00b7 Demonstrate effective organization and personal management skills. Associates Degree is preferred. u00b7 Requires an understanding of budgets, revenue and expenses. u00b7 Requires previous optical experience. u00b7 Demonstration of managerial, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. u00b7 Completion of all required training courses. u00b7 ABO Certification preferred. u00b7 Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHSu2019 Customer Service Policy u00b7 Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Works in a retail office environment.
