Overview Job Summary Details: The Landscape Crew team member will maintain property grounds by mowing, cutting lawns; trimming and edging along walkways, flower beds and walls; trims bushes and trees; plants bushes and flowers; applies lawn care chemicals, as needed; and removes snow and spreads salt. On-the-job- training is provided. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicantu2019s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members ( (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications: u2022 Must be 18 years of age or older u2022 Must have a valid Driver's License u2022 No high school diploma, GED or college degree required u2022 No experience required and on the job training provided Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain property grounds u2022 Ensure proper maintenance of mowers, blowers, and sprinkler systems u2022 Perform a range of landscape maintenance duties including leaf removal, pruning shrubs and trees, fertilizing, lawn care and watering u2022 Remove litter and emptying trash cans u2022 Clean roads, parking lots and walks to ensure safety of pedestrian and vehicular traffic u2022 Perform basic carpentry and painting tasks u2022 Remove ice and snow from walks, roads and lots, including the application of ice melter and road sand u2022 Establish new plants and plantings both in landscape and through greenhouse culture u2022 Use manual and automatic watering systems to ensure adequate moisture for plantings u2022 Perform safety checks on equipment and recommend any necessary changes to leader u2022 Maintain safe work areas during and after work projects u2022 Clean spills as needed, including body fluids A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
