This is a role with growth potential into future design and release responsibilities and allows the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams for EV features and develop industry leading content for our charging and energy management products. The successful candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and detail oriented, with strong teamwork, organizational, oral communication, and written communication skills. The ability to progress design solutions while delivering best compatibility with vehicle targets is a must. The selected candidate will gain experience working with vehicle charging technology, interfacing with multiple teams/stakeholders, driving future product development, and be developing industry first features and content in the growing field of vehicle electrification and integration with home charging/energy management systems. What you'll do... + Support the engineering team by assisting with the implementation of corporate cybersecurity requirements into our home energy products + Coordinate and execute cybersecurity validation tests on our hardware and firmware + Provide analysis and report findings from your testing to the engineering team to support the development of secure code and hardened systems + Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Bash) to support automated security testing and analysis + Maintain open issues, improvement opportunities/roadmaps, release history for assigned features in Jira + Track and report out on SW/FW development sprints in Jira You'll have... + Bachelor of Science/Arts in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Technology, or a related field with a technical focus. + Hands-on experience with Python, C-programming, and Bash scripting. + Experience using network analysis and testing tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump. + Proven project experience in cybersecurity analysis, including internal security audits, network traffic analysis, or identifying attack patterns. + Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Even better, you may have... + Possession of relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Google Cybersecurity Certificate). + Understanding of major cybersecurity frameworks and standards, specifically NIST CSF (Cybersecurity Framework) or PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). + Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively interact with and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders. + While not listed in the raw qualifications, the responsibilities imply that experience with Jira and tracking SW/FW development sprints is highly desired.
