Description Department/Division/Specialty: Department of Medicine/Division of Cardiology/General Cardiology/Emory Heart & Vascular Proposed Academic Appointment: Assistant Professor Primary Role & FTE Percentage(s):Position: FTE 1.0 Location with Associated FTE: Primary Site at Emory University Hospital (EUH) with duties at Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM) and Emory Saint Josephu2019s Hospital (ESJH) Clinical Service Expectations and Administrative Role u2022 10 weeks serving as the attending physician in the CICU u2022 And, when not rotating as the CICU attending physician, 9 Sessions of Clinical duties per week divided between: o Interpretation of CT/CTAs o TEE and Intra-procedural TEE (EUH, EUHM, ESJH) o 4 outpatient cardiology clinic sessions - location TBD o 1 administrative session per week Clinical duties are subject to change at the discretion of Emory Heart & Vascular Executive Director as dictated by operational and strategic needs of the service line. NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
