We are Canteen._ Job Responsibilities: u2022 Well versed in all aspects of foodservice management with a proven track record of success. u2022 Takes ownership of operations to ensure all service and management timelines are met. u2022 Manages financials, including planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting. u2022 Maintains a proactive, professional approach with associates, managers, clients, and customers. u2022 Ensures compliance with meal requirements, standardized recipes, portion control, and food safety standards. u2022 Oversees food preparation, tray line accuracy, and proper labeling. u2022 Audits operations to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. u2022 Hires, trains, and develops staff while monitoring performance and addressing issues. u2022 Collaborates with department managers and the Director of Operations to achieve daily production goals. u2022 Participates in management and food quality meetings. u2022 Schedules equipment maintenance and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures. Education, Work Experience or Capability Requirements: u2022 B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience preferred. u2022 Four plus years of direct foodservice operational management experience in a restaurant, hotel, country club and/or experience producing meals for outside groups. u2022 Excellent knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation a plus. u2022 Experience with P&L accountability is highly desirable. u2022 Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, customer and associate levels. u2022 Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting and computational practices. u2022 Proficient computer skills to include various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet. u2022 ServSafeu00ae certified is preferred.
