Description 90,000 u2013 100,000 BENEFITS: Medical, optional dental, vision, 401(k), disability insurance, life insurance, HSA and FSA options, hybrid schedule Our client, a premier orthobiologics and life science company, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support its strong growth trajectory in the Teaneck, New Jersey area. This is a predominately hybrid role. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting critical processes such as month-end and year-end closings. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and review intercompany allocations to ensure compliance with internal policies and accurate financial reporting. u2022 Record and manage tax-related journal entries as part of the month-end close process. u2022 Conduct thorough reviews of bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. u2022 Analyze unapplied customer deposits and payments, resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate accounts receivable balances. u2022 Review and approve employee expense reports in Concur, ensuring adherence to company policies. u2022 Process and oversee Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and Vendor Return Material Authorizations (VRMAs) for proper accounting treatment. u2022 Perform payroll reconciliations to verify alignment between payroll records and the general ledger. u2022 Support external audits by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation. u2022 Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements to strengthen internal financial controls. Requirements Qualifications u2022 CPA or parts passed a plus. u2022 Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced accounting software systems. u2022 Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. u2022 Familiarity with the medical device or life sciences industry is a plus.
