Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in Fort Lee, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position that requires strong expertise in cash applications, collections, and billing functions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounts receivable processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Manage commercial collections by following up with clients to ensure timely payments. u2022 Perform cash application activities, including applying payments to the correct accounts. u2022 Oversee billing functions to ensure invoices are accurate and delivered on time. u2022 Monitor and analyze cash activity to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounts receivable workflows and efficiency. u2022 Prepare financial reports and documentation related to receivables for management review. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all financial operations. u2022 Conduct regular reviews of accounts receivable aging reports to minimize overdue balances. u2022 Address client inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status with attention to detail. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles. u2022 Proficiency in cash applications and billing functions is required. u2022 Strong understanding of commercial collections processes. u2022 Ability to monitor and analyze cash activity effectively. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Proficient in using accounting software and tools. u2022 Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. u2022 Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
