Executive Director - Home Care ApplyRefer a FriendBack Job Details Requisition #: 208690 Location: Clark, NJ 07066 Category: Management Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Position Details Position Overview The Executive Director is directly responsible for the administrative and leadership functions associated with all operations of an Aveanna branch. Additionally, the Executive Director is responsible for initiating and maintaining compliance with all Federal and State regulations governing Home Health Care Agencies, and ensuring compliance with Aveanna's policies and procedures. The Executive Director is appointed by and reports to the Governing Body, also reporting to Area Vice President, AVP, and/or Area Director, AD. COMPENSATION:$70-75k base salary, plus bonus potential (up to 20% of salary based on branch performance),cellphone andmileage reimbursement. Up to 80 hours of vacation accrual in the first year, 48 hours of sick time accrual, 1 8-hour fun day and 1 8-hour inclusion day. Vacation hours accrual will increase to 120 hours of vacation after 1styear. Essential Job Functions Team Management: u2022 Assure evaluation of each employee annually and establish goals for the upcoming year. Monitor employee progress towards established goals. u2022 Interview and hire competent staff as needed and approved by supervisor with emphasis on recruiting the best qualified candidates. u2022 Staff development including orientation, in-service education and continuing education. u2022 Assure appropriate staff supervision during all service hours. u2022 Meet with supervisors at routine intervals; participate in regional meetings as requested Client Relations: u2022 In collaboration with the Nursing Director, conduct intake interviews with new client families u2022 Participate in weekly meetings to prepare for patients coming onto services u2022 Supervise and evaluate client satisfaction survey report on client served u2022 Incident Management/Issue Resolution Business Operations: u2022 Plan and implement branch growth strategies u2022 Thorough review of financial statements, activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement u2022 Consistently meet reporting deadlines u2022 Branch compliance with federal and state regulations u2022 In collaboration with the Client Relations Director, CRD/Client Relations Associate, CRA, visits with the various referral sources u2022 Ensure hiring processes are followed and recruiting efforts create output to staff clients u2022 Oversight if internal billing and collection efforts to generate clean claims Requirements u2022 High School Diploma u2022 Criminal Background check completed and results within parameters of Aveanna policy. u2022u200b Valid Driveru2019s License and Acceptable MVR Preferences u2022 College Degree Preferred u2022 2-3 Years Management Experience Preferred u2022 Healthcare experience a plus u2022 Pediatric experience preferred Physical Requirements u2022 Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English u2022 Must be able to travel; company does not provide vehicles or transportation u2022 Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of 25 pounds u2022 Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of 50 pounds u2022 Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting u2022 Must be able to sit and climb stairs u2022 Must have visual and hearing acuity u2022 Must have strong sense of smell and touch Environment u2022 Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions Other Duties u2022 Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
