Our Company Adoration Home Health and Hospice Overview The Area Vice President (AVP) of Operations oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of an assigned geography of branches for Home Health. Responsible for ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place to meet financial and operational objectives and drive operational excellence. This includes managing budgets, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies to optimize operations, and leading a team of executive Directors, Administrators and staff to achieve operational goals. The AVP of Operations works closely with senior leadership and the RVP to align operational activities with overall business strategies and objectives. This position will provide support across our New Jersey and New York territories. Benefits and Perks for You + Medical, Dental, Vision insurance + Health Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts (up to $5,000 for childcare) + Tuition discounts & reimbursement + 401(k) with company match + Mileage Reimbursement + Generous PTO Access to wellness and discount programs such as Noom, SkinIO (Virtual SkinCancer Screening), childcare, gym memberships, pet insurance, travel and entertainment discounts and more Responsibilities u00b7 Works with Regional Vice President of Operations and Finance to plan, and execute the companyu2019s budgeted revenue goals u00b7 Collaborates with other business functions such as Sales, Clinical Operations, HR and Finance to ensure business and financial goals are achieved u00b7 Works closely with clinical leadership to ensure appropriate quality standards are met for the identified branches u00b7 Monitors changing business needs and implements actions to resolve and address those identified needs u00b7 Identifies operations that are not performing to standard and develops and implements plans of corrective action u00b7 Ensures that employees in the area understand and adhere to compliance, regulatory and Company processes, procedures, and regulations u00b7 Develops positive and trusting relationships with local leaders and communities we serve u00b7 Consults with the RVP of Operations in budget/financial goals for the operating area u00b7 Consults with the RVP of Operations in determining operational risk factors and contribute to the creation of relevant mitigation plans u00b7 Participates and contributes to the annual budgeting process for the HH Division for the respective area of responsibility. u00b7 Holds leaders (operations) and teams accountable for the achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and business / clinical quality goals u00b7 Provides leadership, mentoring, coaching and development to direct reports u00b7 Responsible for reporting on plans and achievement of business, admission and clinical / quality goals to division President and Company CEO u00b7 Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training of direct reports u00b7 Monitors turnover in the area of responsibility. Ensures proper hiring, training and development of newly hired staff. Works closely with support departments to achieve u00b7 Routine collaboration with payer contracting to negotiate the strongest contracts u00b7 Monitor metrics proactively to effect change in a positive direction before month end u00b7 Collaborate with business partners and use appropriate resources to accurately forecast monthly admissions/growth u00b7 Assigned territory and area of operation can change based on business need Qualifications + Degree in health administration or related field + Eight + years experience with Multi-site management experience in a home health, hospice or related health program + Licensed as a Registered Nurse or other clinical license preferred About our Line of Business Adoration Home Health and Hospice, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides quality and compassionate services in the comfort of home, providing support for patients, families, and caregivers in their time of need.
