Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team on a contract basis in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Responsibilities: u2022 Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including personal injury cases, consumer disputes, and contract-related issues. u2022 Provide legal counsel and defense for individuals facing claims or disputes. u2022 Manage cases involving restraining orders, real estate conflicts, and employment termination disputes. u2022 Draft motions, prepare briefs, and oversee discovery processes to support case strategy. u2022 Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients during mediations and court proceedings. u2022 Conduct legal research to ensure compliance and accuracy in case preparation. u2022 Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored legal strategies. u2022 Handle insurance claims and disputes with attention to detail and professionalism. u2022 Review and analyze case documentation to identify key issues and formulate solutions. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation across various legal domains, such as personal injury, contract disputes, and employment law. u2022 Active license to practice law in the state of Massachusetts. u2022 Proven ability to draft motions, prepare legal briefs, and oversee discovery processes. u2022 Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and techniques. u2022 Excellent legal research and analytical skills. u2022 Effective communication and negotiation abilities. u2022 Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. u2022 Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to client advocacy.
