Loan Servicing Specialist

Description We are looking for a dedicated Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team in Quincy, MA. In this role, you will handle a variety of responsibilities related to mortgage and consumer loans, ensuring all processes align with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in loan servicing who is seeking a Long-term Contract position in the banking industry. Responsibilities: u2022 Process applications for consumer and mortgage loans efficiently while ensuring compliance with established policies. u2022 Prepare loan documentation with attention to accuracy and completeness to support smooth loan closings. u2022 Coordinate loan closings and maintain detailed records of loan transactions and servicing activities. u2022 Monitor and update tracking logs to ensure loan data is current and accessible. u2022 Ensure compliance with federal regulations, state laws, and credit union policies throughout all loan servicing operations. u2022 Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and providing clear communication to borrowers. u2022 Conduct regular audits of loan files to verify accuracy and adherence to compliance standards. u2022 Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and resolve any issues related to loan servicing. u2022 Maintain a thorough understanding of credit union systems and industry regulations. u2022 Support ongoing updates and improvements to loan processes to enhance efficiency. Requirements u2022 At least one year of experience in loan servicing or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. u2022 Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. u2022 Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. u2022 High school diploma or equivalent education required. u2022 Solid understanding of banking or credit union systems and associated regulations. u2022 Familiarity with consumer loan and mortgage servicing processes. u2022 Ability to adapt to changes and work collaboratively within a team environment.
