Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Amesbury, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in all bookkeeping tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain accurate financial records, including tracking expenses and income. u2022 Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently. u2022 Perform thorough bank reconciliations to ensure alignment of financial data. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks to manage and organize financial information. u2022 Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making. u2022 Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. u2022 Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly. u2022 Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed. u2022 Uphold confidentiality and security of financial data. Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software. u2022 Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Solid knowledge of financial regulations and practices. u2022 Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
