PLC Automation Manager

About the role As an Automation Manager, you will make an impact by designing and configuring systems while continuously updating your knowledge of evolving automation technologies. You will be a valued member of the Life Sciences team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and transformation processes. In this role, you will: u00b7 Design, program, and configure Rockwell PlantPAx systems and related software. u00b7 Provide technical support on PlantPAx and FactoryTalk Batch to customers and internal stakeholders. u00b7 Develop documentation including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures. u00b7 Implement and maintain automation strategies for industrial process control systems, including integration with MES. u00b7 Ensure compliance and continuous improvement by applying Rockwell best practices and staying updated on automation technologies Work model: We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this roleu2019s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Norton, MA. What you need to have to be considered: u00b7 Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with Rockwell Technologies, specifically Rockwell PlantPAx. u00b7 Proven expertise in installing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and qualifying industrial control systems. u00b7 Strong background in Life Sciences with mandatory GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience. u00b7 Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain PlantPAx systems across multiple Life Science manufacturing sites. u00b7 Capable of leading and providing consulting services on best practices for configuring and utilizing Rockwell technologies. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until November 7, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $113,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
