What You Will Do u2022 Responsible for the set-up, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes. u2022 Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models. u2022 Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools. u2022 Perform routine maintenance and cleaning. u2022 Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. u2022 Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. u2022 Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications. u2022 May make calculations and assist with numeric controlled programming.
