Your Impact u2022 Communicate with clients to understand project requirements. u2022 Lead a team of engineers and designers on structural engineering and design activities through engineering concept to construction documents for multidiscipline design projects. u2022 Analyze new and existing structures per required code. u2022 Develop calculation packages as required. u2022 Perform existing structures assessment to evaluate their capacity and ability to resist new loading requirements; produce technical reports with technically sound recommendations. u2022 Develop structural models to solve engineering problems based on sound engineering principles. u2022 Be a key contributor to new business development and growth of WSPu2019s A/E delivery team u2022 Coach and mentor Junior Engineers and Designers u2022 Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment. u2022 Adhere to our project delivery standards, including self-checking work prior to quality control reviews, to ensure high quality of work is consistently delivered. u2022 Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSPu2019s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Required Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field. u2022 Professional Engineer registration. u2022 10+ years of relevant experience. u2022 Strong knowledge of structural analysis software such as STAAD PRO, ETABS, RISA and willingness and ability to learn new analysis software. u2022 Demonstrated experience of delivering a range of projects from concept through detailed design and construction completion u2022 Expertise in developing construction drawings and specifications. u2022 Knowledge through experience in developing level-of-effort estimate and client proposals. u2022 Be able to present and describe engineering solutions and concept competently to both technical and non-technical audience. u2022 Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or REVIT. u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills. Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $115,100 - $205,040 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicantu2019s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
