Adecco is currently assisting a well-known National pharmaceutical distribution supply chain, healthcare services, and medical supplies & equipment client in recruiting for an Inventory Associate. Payrate: $17.31 Onsite in Charlestown IN Cross training and advancement opportunity The Inventory Assistant plays an integral role in the success of pharmacy operations. Receiving POu2019s in a timely manner and accurately putting product to the correct bin location ensures patient safety, inventory accuracy, and exceptional customer service. The Inventory Assistant is responsible for unloading and breaking down pallets of product, sorting totes, and verifying all NDCu2019s against POu2019s. They are expected to meet minimum production standards during put-aways and must keep their work area clean and organized. Under the general supervision of the Inventory Manager or Inventory Leads, the Inventory Assistant maintains detailed records of received product and is required to report any overages/shortages/or mis-picks. Schedule: Monday-6:00am-4:30pm Tuesday-Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm with rotational Saturdays. Mandatory OT as required. Key Responsibilities u2022 Perform daily cycle counts when necessary. u2022 Verifies paperwork with total # of totes from DC. Identify and separate controlled substances. u2022 Unloads product from the truck. u2022 Verify NDC and quantity of each item and reconciles it against PO. u2022 File and maintain all DC receipts and paperwork. u2022 Use a handheld scanner application to scan, receive, and reconcile incoming product. Manually keying in received quantities. u2022 Assists with annual physical inventory. u2022 Apply mathematical reasoning: count, multiply, and calculate pack size. u2022 Log and report total put away lines per hour daily including total items received. Must monitor daily performance. u2022 Report errors from DC, such as mis-picks, shortages, overages, and damage. u2022 Performs weekly or monthly sweeps for short dated and expired product. u2022 Rotate product on shelves following the first-in, first-out method (FIFO). u2022 Complies with all appropriate policies including DSCSA u2022 Assist with reverse logistics credit returns program u2013 maintaining records, preparing and scheduling shipments u2022 Follow proper safety procedures and maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
